Drumming Rhythm Fun!

Help me give my students the gift of rhythm through fun drumming activities!

My Project

There's nothing more fun than playing along with your favorite song with drumsticks! I want to give my students the gift of rhythm reading by creating a class "drum" set that the students can play on. I have a bunch of large coffee cans (empty) that we will glue the mouse pads to, creating a drum for each student. Then, each student will get a pair of drum sticks that we will use to practice different musical rhythms.

Kids love to drum!

My older students love to have a challenge and I think this project will be one they love. Each student will have their own drum kit to rock out on while we learn more complex musical rhythms!
