Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

SHS, located in Arkansas follows the motto of "All Means All". Eighty-two percent of the students qualify for free/reduced priced lunch and the demographics are as follows:

Hispanic- 56.9%, African American- 3.4%, Asian- 1.4%, American Indian-.4%, Caucasian- 15.8%, Pacific Islander- 19.9%

The basketball season just came to an end, but we are gearing up for off season. Our goal is to increase students cardiovascular workout through drills, which will in turn support with reducing Body Mass Index rates. With an increase in the number of balls available, more students will be able to participate in drills.....which will allow us to dribble, pass, shoot, and score.
