My students need basic school uniforms consisting of a solid white or navy shirt and solid pants, or a skirt/jumper for girls.

My school services low-income urban families. We are a Title I school where most students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We provide many students with a snack pack on Fridays (food that helps the families over the weekends). Many of my students are not able to afford the basic school supplies needed in the classroom and do not have access to an adequate amount of reading materials outside of school. Our families go through homelessness and basic survival crises every day. Usually, they go home and are cared for by extended relatives and older siblings.
My kindergarten students are always so excited to come to school but many times the student's parents are not able to afford any uniforms to wear to school.
Most of my students enter kindergarten below a preschool level and are often behind other students their age. A basic necessity of not having proper and clean clothes to wear should not be a need that my kindergarten students have to worry about.
I am asking for a variety of basic uniform items including shirts, solid pants, and skirt/jumper for girls. By being able to provide uniforms for my students I will be able to make sure a basic necessity of clean clothes every day is available. Unfortunately, many of my students have a very limited supply of uniforms to wear and they become dirty and worn down very quickly. Despite the condition of their uniforms, most times they are forced to wear them every day.
Many of my students are not afforded the luxury of daily clean clothes and do not have the resources to have them washed more than a few times a month.
Many times students will miss school days because their clothes were not clean or have not dried out from being hand washed the night before.
Students who do not have their basic needs met such as a adequate food and clothing have a hard time being able to learn at school because their mind stays focused on the basic needs that haven't been met. Being able to provide a daily clean uniform for my students will provide them with yet another resource to help them be as successful as possible despite their home life.
