Each year my classroom activities are limited because I am spending most of my money and classroom budget on basic school supplies. We have very limited games and materials to use because parents are not able to supply their students with basic supplies, therefore causing the teacher to have to buy the supplies for the students instead of using on educational resources and games. Having this project funded would allow our classroom to have the crayons, markers, glue, and other basic supplies we need all year long and would allow other funds to be used towards games and other supplies like various items to complete hands-on science projects. My population of students constantly miss out on opportunities and activities due to lack of funds. A lot of my students come from large families and do not have the chance to have their own clothes or toys at home. When supplies do get sent to school, families usually have to split a small amount among siblings. I would like the chance to be able to supply my students with their own set of supplies to use during the school year.
