Help me give my students a Sketch Pack to use with our coding robots. This sketch pack will help challenge students to create codes to make the robots draw pictures.

My Students

This is my third year at my school and I love the excitement that students have for reading, learning and hands-on activities! I was blown away by how many books they checked out my first year here! It was over 23,000 books! Our students are voracious readers!

My students are excited and eager to be at school and to visit the library!

They are such eager readers and love learning through hands-on activities, especially coding. One of their favorite activities in the last few years has been to drive the coding robots around the library. My students love to explore new activities.

My Project

All the students at my K-5 elementary school visit the library for lessons. A lot of these lessons focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math or STEAM and the 4 Cs of creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration. Through STEM projects with the addition of the A for arts, my students can make their engineering ideas come to life.

The Sketch Kit will allow students to combine STEAM, coding and the 4 Cs to make the coding robots draw a picture.

These 3 areas are ways that my students can learn to work together and to work on projects that will make them think about how things work.
