Help me give my students stage lighting support so we can use our drama classroom for performances tied to classwork in performance, writing, and directing.

My Students

My theatre students are talented and hard-working. Our school opened three years ago, and the students have faced many challenges in that time, but they have managed to stage multiple productions a year - some live and some virtual - participate in competitions, and improve themselves through class instruction.

My Project

Lights can be used to support classwork. We are in a standard classroom, not one specifically designed for a theatre space, so we do not have a dedicated area for performance. Our classroom is building a stage area so students can have a space that feels like a dedicated performance space for final assessments in performance units. The lights, cable, and controller will help to support this.

Also, students are being asked more often to film auditions and competition pieces to submit work virtually.

These lights will help in the quality of those videos to give the videos a look like they are filmed in a performance venue.
