This quote has inspired me as an educator.
I work with an amazing group of children who are eager to learn. I enjoy seeing the excitement in their eyes when we get ready to complete a science lab. My students come from diverse backgrounds which make them unique. Many of my students come from low-income families; however, they are the best kids on the planet.
My Project
I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to have a STEAM experience with all of these wonderful artistic and science engineering tools! I hope that by providing the play dough and tools, students can be creative in building whatever they can imagine!
According to the Department of Commerce, those with a STEM degree earn on average 26 percent more than their non-STEM counterparts.
As an educator, I feel it is my responsibility to provide my female students of color with the every possible exciting opportunity.
