Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students' resilience as they face obstacles in and out of the classroom. They are ready to take on any challenge including a big state test.

These fidgets will help ease some of the stresses that come from state testing and be a reminder to keep on going!

Students can quietly fidget with this tool and not disturb others if they begin to feel anxious, need a short brain break, or a reminder that they are capable of taking a big state test. On testing days teachers are required to stick to scripted phrases therefore may not give as much encouragement as we love to give. These fidgets can serve as a symbol that their teacher is with them as they test and send so much encouragement their way. This project would help provide enough fidgets for all 3rd-5th grade students. Any support is greatly appreciated.
