Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the best part of my day, every single day. They are eager to get to school each and every day, and have told me they don't want the weekend, because they love to be at school. My students are bright souls that bring me endless joy.
I am constantly inspired by their determination to not let hardships of the outside world effect their learning.
These students need the supplies in their classroom to continue their learning. I strive to be their support, their role model, their friend, and their coach every day. They make me a better human, and I want to teach them to be better humans, too.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning, because it will allow them to focus on the task at hand. By providing flexible seating, it will give my students the extra help they need to complete their tasks efficiently. Currently, my students have limited options of where to sit, including under their desks or on the class rug, but I want to provide them with better options.
Giving my students the power of choosing where to sit helps them take responsibility for their learning.
My students are more likely to complete work without bothering their peers with flexible seating, because they get to choose where they sit with flexible seating.
