My students are some of the most imaginative, motivated young artists I have ever taught. The diversity of our student body is one of the major factors that make their perspective of the world so unique. However, many of my students only get exposed to the arts in school. That is why it is so important for me as an educator to be able to give them access to as many ways of creating as possible.
Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 and new safety protocols, I am currently unable to provide necessary materials for each one of my students, as they are no longer able to share supplies.
While the protocols are vital in keeping all students and staff safe, the equity gaps between students who can afford to obtain their own supplies and those who rely on the school to provide them, continues to widen.
Please help me provide basic art materials for all of my students, so that with an art kit, they are able to fully participate in learning, whether it is distance, hybrid or in-person.

Since the pandemic, students are no longer able to share materials, and the need to buy individual supplies for each student has made it impossible with our current budget.
