My Project

Students in the second-grade classroom learn to use their prior knowledge of number sense and basic place value to put together and take apart multi-digit numbers.

These materials will help students learn the next skills of adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers with regrouping and ungrouping by taking their place value knowledge and applying it to applicable activities to practice these skills .

After watching videos to help them learn and review the skill of regrouping, they will use the activities purchased from TPT, and stored in an accessible filing cabinet, which will allow them to master these skills.
