Geometry is part of everyday life. Through the hands-on experimentation use of these Learning Resources Geoboards, students will be able to learn, all about the different characteristics, angles, sides, perimeter of the 2D shapes they create. We can then move on to comparing them with 3D shapes and discuss the similarities/differences between them. Last, we can use the real world application through reading the books, and recognizing the learned shapes in their pictures, and then recognizing them in our classroom and on the playground. These Learning Resources Classpack Geoboards and Picture books will allow students concrete/hands-on and real-life math experience in geometry.
