This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This simple document camera will make an enormous impact on student learning in my classroom. Unfortunately, the older document cameras either refocus (causing blurriness) every time a hand or paper is moved under the camera...or they don't fit the entire paper under the camera. It's very frustrating for students! This document camera will allow me to project what I'm doing onto a large screen so that students can follow along anywhere in the classroom. I can demonstrate how to solve a problem by simply working out the problem under the camera and projecting it onto the screen. I will be able to model the desired skill for my students! Science and art projects will be clearer to follow as well!
