Documenting History!

Help me give my students condenser microphones for their iPad so that they can create quality oral history interviews for future generations!

My Students

My students are active learners with a thirst for knowledge and education. My students are an amazing group of kids. They come from many different backgrounds and the diversity only adds to our learning experiences. They are eager and excited to learn and soak up everything. My students want to engage with the content in new ways and engage in the learning process in a manner that comes more natural and fluid like they would encounter in the real world.

My Project

My students need condenser microphones that will attach to their school issued iPads so that they can record quality oral history interviews. We do a lot of documenting history in my class and this will greatly improve the quality of their work. The students bring in family members, veterans, community members, and so on and they create interview questions and interview them so we can add to the historical record of telling peoples stories!

These microphones will help to create quality oral history interviews that people can listen to for generations to come!

It will also teach my students about audio production and editing when they have to produce the audio into a finished product for the world to listen to!
