My Students

I teach at an elementary school in New Orleans, Louisiana. Although, most of my students are from a low socio-economic background they enjoy learning, like to experience new things and express an eagerness to discover new information. They are extremely inquisitive and always excited about Science and Social Studies.

My Project

Many times it is a struggle trying to find software and upload documents that students can view. This device will make it possible for me to always have a tool that will allow me to make all documents available to students whether they are in the class or attending virtually. This document camera/scanner will allow students real time access to texts, my written examples, and other documents during and after class. This will also allow me to show students step by step processes that, will in turn, give them a guide as to how to answer questions.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
