Document Camera for Distance Learning

Help me give my students better access to what I am teaching remotely. With the new distance learning platforms, I need a document camera to be able to show my students the math problems firsthand.

My Students

My students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds, but my goal is to help them strive to do their best as they take an advanced math class that will count as a high school graduation requirement.

Many of my students have a myriad of outside challenges, and my goal is to help them learn how to persevere and develop a growth mindset, regardless of their backgrounds and math experiences.

I endeavor to help them create positive math memories and serve as a role model for them. One of my highlights last year was being selected by the eighth graders as the faculty speaker for promotion. It was a humbling honor to represent them and my colleagues.

We are now switching to distance learning, which creates challenges in maintaining positive relationships with ny students.

My Project

Please help! With the switch to remote learning, my students need access to seeing math problems firsthand.

As a math teacher now doing distance learning, a document camera is a necessary tool to help my students be successful.

I need to be able to project math problems, activity sheets, and other exercises by using a document camera, but I don't have one. Since all learning is now done remotely, I desperately need this technology to help demonstrate the math problem-solving and to project the various types of Algebraic and Geometric math problems live to my students. Thank you!
