My Project
I teach in a Pre-K special education classroom where we do not have access to an oven to use for cooking and baking activities. Cooking and baking activities are a wonderful way to improve language development, enhance cognitive development, benefit social-emotional development, and promote physical development. The convection oven, kitchen tools, and dry food items will give us a chance to do cooking and baking activities that require an oven. Also other classes within the school will be able to use the oven for cooking and baking activities as well.
