This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology plays an important part of today's education. My students are lucky enough to have individual Chromebooks in the classroom, however as a first year teacher, I do not have headphones available for all students. Many of my students do not have access to quality headphones so some students have to go without. My students will use the headphones for Reading, Math, and Language Arts lessons and assignments. A classroom set of headphones will also help accommodate students during testing. This allows students to listen to instructions, questions, or just cancel out noise. These resources provide students with the opportunity to polish their Math, Reading, and Language Arts skills. Most importantly they will provide a quiet environment for all of my students to work independently.
