My Project

Through the funding of this project, I will be creating a listening station in our school media center that each student within our school will have access to during their weekly library class. Every student will enjoy this center but I am hoping to reach my students that are not yet able to read independently.

Non-readers often shy away from quality texts and through the usage of these Yoto players, they will have access to hear fluent reading of some of their favorite stories while following along with a hard copy of the books they are listening to.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
