This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is a school of the arts with a diverse student population. We serve students with broad range of socioeconomic and cognitive advantages and challenges.

My students are brave and ready to try anything.

They know that it's OK to be smart and to ask questions. My students are ready to grow.

While our primary needs as students and teachers are gladly met by our school and district, supplemental materials can sometimes be a little hard to come by. This is where you come in!

My Project

I'm trying to cobble together two class sets of Lord of the Flies so that both of my Honors classes can have copies of the book to use at home. I've already submitted a request for one class set and am submitting this one as well so my request amounts aren't so big.

Students love reading Lord of the Flies and I want to keep that junior high tradition going.

With your help I can keep my students active and engaged in their literature studies. We have several fun activities and projects that we complete while reading the novel and I would like to get started ASAP!
