My Project

In today’s world, the mental health of our youth is a growing concern. Adolescents face immense pressures from academics, social media, and personal lives, leading to increased stress and anxiety. Our leadership class is addressing this by planning lunchtime activities for Mental Health Awareness Month, creating a supportive environment for students to unwind, connect, and learn stress management techniques. A key component is our DIY stress ball workshop, for which we seek your generous donations.

Lunchtime offers a vital break from academic pressures.

By transforming this time into engaging, stress-relieving activities, we aim to significantly improve students' well-being. Our month-long schedule promotes mental health awareness, provides coping mechanisms, and fosters a sense of community.

The DIY stress ball workshop is a cornerstone activity. Stress balls help manage stress and anxiety effectively. Creating their own stress balls gives students a useful tool and a therapeutic crafting experience.

We need materials for the DIY stress balls, such as balloons, flour or rice, and markers for personalization. Additionally, educational materials on stress management and mental health resources are crucial. Your donation will help purchase these materials (balloons, stuffing, tapes, pens), ensuring all students can participate.
