My Project
"She looks like me!" One of my favorite moments this year was when a student was so excited that a main character in the book we were reading looked like her! She was beyond thrilled that the character was the same color as her! I want my students to be able to relate to the characters in the stories they read.
Every student should be able to relate to the characters they read about! Please help me diversify our classroom library to allow all students to relate to the characters they are reading about!
