Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 4th-grade students are clever, funny, and motivated to learn. They are determined to grow and learn through literacy and learning. This year my students and I have welcomed and embraced about 7 newcomer students who migrated from various countries. Expanding my library will allow my students to have access to a library that will support their reading skills in all native languages represented in our classroom. Through small group instruction and independent reading, we as a class look forward to the growth in our reading skills and abilities.
