My Project

Our Classroom Library could use a refresh to help my students get more excited about reading.

Help me provide my students with new books along with books about Black History Month to encourage them to read more and improve their reading stamina.

We are finally getting back to a routine after the pandemic and it is great to see students reading books again. My class will be so excited to receive new classroom books we can read together and they can practice reading in small groups or independently. We are getting to a challenging part of the school year so I want to make this transition easier for students by reading a couple new stories each week.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
