My Students

I teach a very diverse kindergarten class full of eager learners who are recovering from their early developmental years spent in a pandemic world. My students are learning social skills and what it is like to be part of a community. They are also learning the importance of finding things in common with others, while also accepting each other's differences.

I love that my students are a blank canvas.

They are very excited to learn and grow in so many ways and are very impressional. As this school year continues my hope is to help my students not only become good learners, but good little people and members of society as well.

My Project

This project will give my students the power of seeing themselves in literature and seeing those who are different than them as well. Through a diverse library, students will learn about other's culture and will take pride in their own culture as well.

The children will learn to celebrate what makes them unique, as well as celebrate parts of others that make them unique.

In our diverse world it is more important than ever to help our youngest members of society accepting of one another to help grow a world of valued diversity and love!
