My Project

As a teacher, I strive to bring a variety of books to my students. I am requesting a variety of books so that I could expand the books I have available for the classroom library. My students need to be exposed to diverse, inclusive books. This month, I am requesting diverse books in honor of Black History Month. I would like to give my students inclusive books that highlight people of color. The books that I chose have positive messages about diversity and inclusion.

Books open the minds for all readers.

It is important that my students see themselves in the books in our classroom library. The books that I have chosen are books that my students will absolutely enjoy. I also want my students to see that they are readers. Thank you for your support!
