My Project

I teach 23 amazing students who come from various different backgrounds. Acceptance, love, and empathy are cornerstones of our classroom environment.

Students need books to read that have various different characters in them.

They should be able to relate to the characters in the books and if they do not they should learn their stories.

We are learning about Native American Culture in Social Studies. There are important stories being told by indigenous people and our students need access to them. These books will help our students know their stories.
