My Students

I work with striving readers in grades K through 3. I provide additional reading intervention and support for the students who need it the most. Many of my students are from low income families and families with limited resources to access books, especially over the summer. These students have worked very hard all year to grow as readers and they need great books to continue their efforts over the summer.

My Project

We've worked hard this year to get students back to school and excited about reading again. We need your help to continue this work by providing high-interest, highly engaging books for summer reading.

We want to be sure that when students go home in June, that ALL of them have access to GREAT BOOKS!

We want them to have a variety of genres and topics to read. In the past, we have provided books every summer for students, but now our collection has been depleted. We need your help to put books into the hands of our kindergarten, first, and second graders. Help us to continue to build a LOVE of reading into the hearts of our students.
