My students are energetic and quite imaginative!

Many of them come from low-income households where a variety of books, technology, and basic school supplies are limited. During this distance learning, they are adjusting to new ways of learning. Some are bound to using paper/pencil packets during this pandemic. Even so, they are continuing to do their best to participate and stay engaged in learning.

My Project

Please help me give my students a creative art kit for home use during this distance learning process. The school will not open to students for the remainder of this school year. I am trying to share the love of learning and allow students to participate in a final unit of study as we learn about the ocean and the animals living within it.

My students are creative and imaginative and the kits would allow them an opportunity for hands-on learning as they design and create models of ocean animals.

Students will use fine motor skills, drama, their artistic ability and express themselves through the use of the kits.
