My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn through hands-on experiences. In our school library Makerspace, I want to give them opportunities to connect the books they read with the things they build and discover. With LEGO ocean animal sets and magnetic construction materials, students can explore marine life, design underwater habitats, and use their imaginations to bring ocean worlds to life.

These resources will encourage students to practice problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and engineering skills while building background knowledge about ocean animals and their environments.

By combining reading, research, and building, students can deepen their understanding of nonfiction topics and see how learning extends beyond the pages of a book.
