My Students
This year I've been blessed with 24 amazingly interactive, dedicated, and divers group of students who will continue their school year with an anticipation to excel in every discipline. They are multi-tasked and goal oriented, contributing their vigor and vitality to perform beyond and above what's expected. Despite these amazing potentials, they're facing struggles that mercilessly impairs their academic as well as sociological growth.
The economically disadvantaged population at my school has escalated to about 80% with an ongoing mobility rate of 22%.
In order to aggressively reach this student population, a consistent and rigorous program with accessible resources is necessary. My goal is to meet their needs and prepare them for their future. With the second semester already rolling, having these material in their hands mean we care.
My Project
We are requesting two tablets. Students who will receive these devices are at home due to school closures for Covid-19. Because of the absence of laptops, desktops, or other devices used for blended learning opportunities, students have to wait for paper and pencil materials to be delivered to their houses.
Students who are engaged in distant learning have the utmost benefit.
From home, they are getting the opportunity for distant learning, collaborating with their peers, and getting immediate feedback on their assessments.
My plan is to make it possible for them to be engaged with the minimum technology device available. This is their only chance.
