Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager learners in a low-income neighborhood. They are smart, creative, intuitive, lively, and energetic. They are a joy to work with, and they challenge me every day. My students are writers and painters and engineers and mathematicians. They are explorers and philosophers and inventors.

My students are future leaders, teachers, and problem solvers.

I want to give them access to the tools and the skills to make sure they can achieve all of their goals and dreams.

My Project

As we transition from traditional classroom instruction to online educational activities and distance learning techniques, my students need their teacher to be up to date with the technology and software to best serve their needs.

Social distancing saves lives, but distance learning can be difficult.

Most of my students access the internet exclusively on their phones. Because of this, I want to design my instruction to be not only accessible but designed for compatibility with mobile devices. This means utilizing educational apps, video conferencing, and internet messaging as vital parts of my new instructional style.

I want to do everything I can to help my students achieve at the highest level possible, and I believe this technology will help me do that.
