The students are able to walk around and look at other boards to see different methods the groups are using to complete math tasks. This helps groups that are stuck be able to preserve through the new math ideas. I, as the teacher, am able to walk around and see the student's methods without interfering with their thinking and communication. Students enjoying learning together and be able to stand up to do math. \r\n\r\n The document camera has help our class summarize work at the end of a lesson. Students can use the camera to show their methods on a new topic. I can put up a few ideas in one place for students to review. The doc cam also helps when if comes to focused note taking. I can write on our graphic organizers with the students. For those that are learning how to take detailed notes, it is helpful for them to see how I would use the organizers. From there, students can start to organize their notes in a way that resonates with their thinking. \r\n\r\n Finally, the podium has helped be able to to use the doc cam standing up. It also allows me to place my teaching notes and textbooks on it for easy access while teaching. These allow me to see the whole class and address questions with efficiency. The storage shelves are an easy place to keep pens, and extra books to support our classroom thinking. \r\n\r\n Thank you so much for helping my class engage in mathematics this year.
