Help me give my students a teacher that is equipped for Distance Learning; an iPad, an Apple Pencil, and a keyboard case will allow me to reach my students and teach them to the best of my ability.
My Kindergarten students are ambitious and curious. Our school is currently 100% free lunch with several of my students living in single-parent households or with grandparents.
These innocent 5 and 6 year olds are dealing with very unfair teaching and learning conditions right now due to Covid-19.
The last 10 weeks of their Kindergarten year have been taken away from them, in the traditional sense.
My Project
My amazing Kindergarten students have been working so hard from home since our school was closed in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We have been learning together through our class Facebook page, Zoom, and I would like to start a Seesaw/Google Classroom group.
Our district is in a rural area of Michigan and currently the only technology that is provided for teachers is a desktop computer in our classrooms.
Therefore, I am using my college daughter's 4 year old laptop from home to try and reach all of my students. Needless to say, it isn't making my job very easy.
With this iPad bundle, I would be able to teach using these online platforms with ease to reach my students while we are away from each other, now and in the future. Thank you.
