Distance Learning Incentives

Help me give my students incentives for working hard during distance learning at home such as water bottles, bubble wands, and vinyl sheets.

My Students

With our school population of almost 800, 100% of the students are living in apartments. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 85% of our students receiving free lunch. Students have the option to receive free breakfast daily through a program at the school that is open to all students.

Our school has a diverse population of students from various countries who speak a variety of different languages.

Many students will come to our school for the first time and never have learned to speak English.

I have assisted our school in providing a variety of resources such as weekend food bags for students, free eye care and exams, dental screenings, a free food pantry, and a clothing closet.

My Project

Students need some motivation while they are working from home and incentives might be what it takes. I want to create water bottles for students to use and take pride in. Students will earn a water bottle with their name of it throughout the year by earning points. I want all students to take pride in their work and wanting to earn this prize.

All students are given the same opportunity to receive this prize even if they are needing to do their work in packets due to lack of internet.
