Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Many of my student's are staying home with older brothers and sisters with parents at home. Out parents want to support my students in many ways, but we struggle with technology at home. Many of my students still don't have technology at home.
My Project
The snacks will help the parents that need support at home while many they need support.
I am going to be making bags to take home with supplies like crayons, white boards, markers, pencils, and books.
I would love to include this new book into our zoom class meetings to be able to read out from our homes. It's very difficult how our world and teaching change in a very short time. Many of my student's need support getting snacks to be able to keep positive learning community. Many student's don't have enough food in our community.
