Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This upcoming school year will be one like no other. I have found out that our school will be teaching 40% of the students at school and 60% at home. I have very little information about what this will look like and as teachers, we are preparing for everything. With my students only coming to school 40% of the time this will make teaching Kindergartener what they need to learn more challenging. We will be actively engaged in all sorts of different online platforms and trying to learn new things along the way. My students and I will participate in through Zoom meetings to go over new material that we might not get to in class.
My Project
Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards will allow me to purchase instructional materials that will provide my students with resources and tools to be successful during distant learning. They are a great teaching resource for educators to help their students learn and many are digital.
I have used Teacher Pay Teacher resources to differentiate lessons and provide reviews and repetition activities for my students.
Ensuring every child is learning at home and school takes preparation and resources to ensure all materials are covered. This is a great way to supplement the district adopted curriculum for our students who may need differentiated resources. Thank you for taking the time to read my project and for your support.
