My students are very grateful to all of you for helping us to get planners for this school year. My students are able to use the planners to record what they did for the day. My students are able look back at the work we have completed throughout each week. Students take the planner home to review the work with their families each Friday to show them and discuss what they have completed in class. They have to get their planners signed and returned to school each Monday. This is a way to have the connection from home to school. This planner makes a huge difference in my classroom to help with organization. Our summertime really begins in late August into early October and our classrooms get HOT! The kids are so grateful to be able to be cooled off in our room on hot days. Having cool bodies means that they can have cool minds and are ready to learn. They are so much more excited to come into the room after recess, lunch, or PE knowing that they won't be sitting in a space heater of a room. When I opened the box for them, they were so grateful and happy to plug these fans in. They love turning the fans on full blast and pretending that they are going to blow away from the strength of the air. They also like to take turns shoving their faces as close as possible for 5 seconds, then letting their friend do the same thing. The leis were made by a parent of the school. The parent needed the ribbon and the 2025 label to make the leis. This year as a teacher, I wanted to help the parent by getting the materials for them to be able to make them again this year. It was nice to be able to give something to the students when they crossed the stage to get their certificate. Students are able to keep everything in one place. \r\n\r\nHaving these planners has helped us to teach the students how to start organizing at an early age. It is a special and exciting time for them as they move on to middle school.
