Help me give my students the opportunity to receive supplies while learning remotely. I will place supplies in ziplocks and students will have things at their fingertips.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students come from a high poverty/low income area in a major school district in Houston, Texas. My students are spontaneous, clever, and inquisitive about the world around them.
Despite the many challenges my students face, I am looking to enhance their learning experiences in science through distance learning.
Many of my students have difficulty completing their assignments due to lack of supplies and resources.
My Project
These materials will help me to close the gap of those students who will need paper based learning until technology is issued. For those who have technology, they will also receive a ziplock of pencils, dry erase boards and necessary items to be successful.
Visual learning is important in science.
I am giving my students to the opportunity if granted to see the life cycle of a butterfly. We will name our butterflies and release them into the gardens. My students are eager and ready to tackle this remote learning!
