Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students are great. They are a mixture of diverse learners from diverse backgrounds. Some of my kids do not have a lot, work after school jobs to help support their families and do not ask for much in return for their hard work. I want to give them the best opportunities out there. My students love to learn and are excited about their upcoming Anatomy and Physiology class. I do not want to disappoint them, but I am afraid that I am going to. You see they are all looking forward to the dissections however my school is lacking the money to spend on quality specimens and up to date tools. I would love nothing more then to be able to dissect a variety of specimens with my students so that they get the full feel of a "real" anatomy class. We are not asking for much. We need a Mammalian Structure and Function Dissection Kit which serves 30-35 students. As well as 15 Comparative Mammalian Organ Dissection Kit to serve 30-35 students. My kids want to learn and are excited about science. Please help me keep that excitement with them. It will make a difference in their lives.
