This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a science teacher it is challenging to display students models in an effective matter that encourages deep and thoughtful discussions about what is happening and what students are thinking.

An iPad would allow students to display their work directly on to the classroom TV.

Students are then able to write on top of their originally thinking and modify as we dive deeper into our scientific understanding of the world around us. Science can be challenging for students and being able to provide meaningful visuals is incredibly powerful to developing consensus models and scientific explanations. An iPad would allow students to directly share and see what their classmates are thinking.
