Many of my students are struggling with their mental health because of the pandemic. I would like to create an environment that is soothing and nurturing upon their return to the classroom from distance learning due to Covid-19. Fluorescent lightening is jarring for many of my special needs students, and the covers would provide a better learning environment for all. I've already painted the walls a light yellow, and, with the covers, it will be a warm and welcoming place for students to study and work hard for many years to come.
