My Students

Our school serves a variety of students, from upper middle class to children living in poverty. The grand majority of them are eager to learn, and excited to grow. Some are dealing with difficulties at home, but find school to be a place of safety.

My Project

Students deserve the chance to learn about a wide variety of topics and experiences. Reading widely is a great way to help them both expand their learning and their reading skills.

The books for this DonorsChoose project will be used to help students achieve the goal of reading 30 books in the school year.

Each student is working on reading 2 books from 10 different genres, as well as 10 books from whichever genres they choose.

Your generous donation will help students have more immediate access to the books that they need to achieve the 30 book challenge, and to broaden the horizons of their knowledge at the same time.
