My Project

The Titanic may have sunk back in 1912, but the story is still breaking news to my students! Many have exhausted our small supply of books on the topic. They simply can't learn enough about it!

Student book choice plays a large part in getting children hooked on reading.

Reading about topics of interest motivates students to read, regardless of their age or reading level. Through this project, I would be able to provide a larger collection of books about the Titanic to further promote reading and learning. Kids who choose books become adults who choose books!
