My Project

My students are naturally curious and love asking questions about how the world works. They thrive when they can investigate, experiment, and make discoveries through hands on learning. Whether they are exploring our school garden, studying ecosystems, or designing STEM solutions, they are eager to think like real scientists.

A compound microscope will open an entirely new world for my students by allowing them to observe cells, microorganisms, plant structures, insects, and other specimens they cannot see with the naked eye.

Instead of simply reading about science concepts, they will experience them firsthand by collecting samples, making observations, recording data, and drawing evidence based conclusions.

This microscope will support our life science and environmental science investigations throughout the school year while strengthening critical thinking, problem solving, and scientific inquiry skills. It will also encourage collaboration as students work together to ask questions, share discoveries, and communicate their findings. By giving my students access to authentic scientific tools, this project will inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and help every child see themselves as a scientist.
