My Students

My students are stuck at home. As an art teacher I would like to see them continue to do art. Most of them have internet but for those who don’t, I need to provide lessons on paper. Even those who have internet many don’t have supplies at home. It is yet to be known if we will be able to have seated classes in the fall.

I would love to provide watercolors paints, brushes, colored pencils, drawing pencils, and paper for my students at home.

My Project

While most of my students do have some form of internet, not all do and as an art teacher I will need to push out projects that can be accomplished at home with minimal mess and cleanup. Watercolor paint and colored pencils are sophisticated mediums that will not be difficult to use at home.

My students will learn different techniques to use both watercolor paints and colored pencils.

We will study the techniques of various famous watercolor and colored pencil artists. In doing so I hope to inspire them to try different techniques to they can find their own niche in art.

While learning at home can be stressful, artwork will provide a relaxing break from academia and provide a chance to participate in a "hands-on" assignment.
