Disc Golf & Ultimate Frisbee!

Help me give my students foam frisbees and practice goals so they can enjoy disc golf. Foam disc's are perfect for primary students. Disc's put students in the position to learn catching and tossing fundamentals.

My Project

I am a P.E. teacher/coach of about 450 students. We run kindergarten through 5th grade. I see these awesome kids twice a week as individual classes and all together on Fridays. I introduced frisbee toss to one of my 5th grade classes using old, hard plastic frisbees. They hurt when attempting to catch them. We decided that our school needs foam frisbees for all the younger students!

I then introduced disc golf so that the kids wouldn't have to catch the frisbees any longer.

"Coach Brown, we need targets like they have at some city parks", they said. I think we could really use two portable disc golf goals that will increase enjoyment and overall skills for every student in our school.

These items would be used year round as they are indoor/outdoor. They will also be used for a variety of other team building games like Ultimate Frisbee.
