This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students at Burbank Blvd Elementary (in North Hollywood) have not heard of Disc Golf, let alone play it! I am looking to not only teach my classroom a new sports game they can play during Physical Education (P.E) but the entire school!!! This is a sport that regardless of athletic ability every student can enjoy! It is fun for all ages but most importantly it gets students out of the classroom and outdoors playing a new, fun, easy sport to learn. Hopefully this leads to some students playing this sport over summer and/or their free time.

Mr. Arredondo will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by July 23.
