My students really enjoy using the Play Dough to mold letters, numbers, shapes and object to help express their creativity. It has really helped my students build their fine motor skills. They work their finger muscles and build grasp and strength. They are more motivated to complete tasks so they can have time in groups to work with the Play Dough.\r\nThe mailboxes have be very helpful in providing my students a way to be more organized. When they complete an assignment and they have conferenced with the teacher they put it in their mailbox so their desk doesn't have any clutter. They also have a place to put any materials that they need to take home if they forgot to bring their folder that day. Also at the end of the day they go to their mailbox to pickup their folder or any materials they need to take home.\r\nThey squishy Moche are good motivators to encourage student to follow rules and direction. They have been more motivated to try to be more responsible, respectful and safe because their want to receive a squishy Moche as a prize for making better choices. These supplies will greatly help in many ways. To start, yes the school does supply each classroom with a pencil sharpener, but it is unfortunately not the best as it breaks down or does not sharpen the pencils properly. Your donation of a better sharpener will help the students have a basic need in class, pencils, that are always sharp.\r\nThe folders serve so the students stay nice and organized, one will be a homework folder and the other a \"catch up\" folder for unfinished work.\r\nThe name tags aren't really for me, I have memorized every student's name, but it helps them as it has simple math facts like multiplication charts and fractions.\r\nLastly, our morning journal.
