Direct Instruction for Students After Long Break Away!

Help me give my students direct instruction that they will need after a long break from the classroom by learning in small groups at a horseshoe table! Individual supplies will also be key in reopening of the classroom!

My Students

My future students will be coming into third grade, and need a lot of support because of having distanced learned for half of second grade! Instead of coming into third grade ready for third grade material, they will need a lot of attention to second grade curriculum on top of that.

I know that I will have a diverse group of students that bring together so many different strengths and create a wonderful classroom community!

My Project

These materials and resources will help all of the students in my classroom find success next year! By having a place that allows students to receive direct instruction they then will be able to get the support that they need to re-learn second grade material that was taught during distance learning, as well as to thrive in third grade.

Having individual resources for students will be key this year, as it is important to prepare and allow for learning to still happen if the transition to distance learning occurs in the future.

This allows us to prepare inside the classroom and establish routine that can be transferred across learning environments.
